Yesterday, a distress call brought the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) and CHP Golden Gate Division to a dramatic cliffside rescue above Baker Beach. The SFFD received a 911 call shortly before 1:00 PM about a person in peril. Cliff Rescue Unit 14 responded, and assistance was swiftly provided by the CHP’s H-30 helicopter and their air operations team, according to theSan Francisco Fire Department.

The CHP’s Helicopter Rescue Technician (HRT) was lowered to reach the victim, describing the scene as a testament to the team’s joint effort.
