Early Morning Accident in St. Charles Passenger Dies After Vehicle Crashes Into Tree, Driver Fleeing Arrested

SAGINAW COUNTY, Mich (DDN) – An accident that occurred early on Sunday morning resulted in the death of one person.

The collision took place at approximately 2:15 in the morning in the 12900 block of Ring Road.

Upon arrival, the officers discovered that a vehicle had collided with a tree.

It was discovered that the front passenger was inside. A medical examiner pronounced her deceased at the scene.

As stated by the St. Charles Police Department, the individual who is suspected of being the driver fled the site of the collision and was subsequently apprehended by law authorities after being located.
