COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.(DDN) – A vehicle crashed into a building south of downtown Colorado Springs overnight, and police are looking into the incident.
Around 4:30 on Monday morning, officers were called to Las Vegas and South Nevada.
There, they discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a building close to the Maverik convenience store. The driver had already left, but before they did, they were able to destroy a portion of the building.
According to the police, the incident was a hit-and-run crash, not a smash-and-grab, as reported by 11 News. The structure that was struck seems to have been a motel at one time, but it is no longer in business.
