The incident in question took place last Wednesday around 3:30 PM when a sight and hearing-impaired woman was subjected to an unprovoked attack while she walked along Stockton Avenue near Elm Street, according to theEl Cerrito Police Department.

The police have described the person of interest as a tall male of an unidentified race with either a thin or medium build. He was spotted wearing a grey or white top, dark bottoms, and white shoes, starkly capturing the victim’s attestation. Surveillance footage obtained by the officers shows a man matching this description following the woman shortly before the incident.

Officials from the El Cerrito Police Department are urging locals to review their security footage, hoping that additional evidence of the suspect might emerge, particularly residents near Stockton Avenue and Elm Street.
