Following a swift response from the Berkeley Police Department to the unfortunate event, the victim was taken to Highland Hospital and eventually passed away from his wounds. The Department’s Fatal Accident inquiry Team is leading the inquiry, and the driver, a 79-year-old Berkeley lady, has been assisting investigators.
