Elderly Woman Robbed at Gunpoint in Downtown St. Louis as Police Seek Information

A 66-year-old woman was victimized by a robbery last evening in downtown’s 200 block of N. Tucker Blvd. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), the woman was accosted at approximately 8:10 p.m. by an unknown male assailant who brandished a firearm and demanded her belongings.SLMPDreports assert that the robber made off with the victim’s purse and fled from the scene posthaste.

The incident, currently under investigation by the police of District 4, did not result in physical injury to the victim. The suspect’s identity remains a mystery and authorities are actively seeking any leads.
