How would you describe your sound to those who are not familiar with your music?

In 2017 I said my sound was TRAP & B. Somebody rewrote my idea, so I never pushed that. But that’s what I call it. I’m the love child of Trap and R & B. No cap.

Where do you go or who do you go for creativity and inspiration?

I just let my soul flow Been through a lot. It’s not hard to be 100. I don’t need any inspiration, just a good beat and my favorite drugs.

How do you balance being a mother and an artist?

There is no balance. I am a mother first. My music is therapy and to me like a child. My kids know the words to most of my songs, haha, they pick beats, they do TikTok routines for me. We are all one. That’s another thing I love about Ethika. When they signed me, they gave me a huge bag of gear for all three of my children. I push the issue about my kids lol. If I move, it’s for her. All the steps I take are for the better of their future. I’m glad Ethika noticed that I’m a whole package.

How does it feel to be at the forefront of the women who dominate the hip hop scene?

It feels good. I still have a long way to go. I’m trying to change the scene. I’m not your typical rapper. I really spit.

Do you have new music in the works that your fans can expect from you?

In 3 weeks I recorded 17 new songs with Ethika on all Ethika beats. We literally have the hottest producers on the team. I believe 5 tracks were produced by Matt Cook, the CEO of Ethika. Great Grammy music on the go. That’s all i can say Come as soon as possible.

What are some of your short term and long term longevity goals?

Short term? In all honesty, just live a healthier lifestyle. Maybe go vegan, introduce my children to a vegan life. In the long run, you’ll stay paid forever.
