A driver was killed in a single-vehicle collision on Northeast Airport Way in Portland’s Argay Terrace Neighborhood last night. According to the Portland Police Bureau, the rollover accident happened yesterday at approximately 8:15 p.m. The car was off the road, flipped in a nearby parking lot, and the driver was already dead when North Precinct officers arrived at the 13800 block of Northeast Airport Way.
The investigation was started by the Major Crash Team of the Portland Police Traffic Division after the collision. Westbound lanes on Northeast Airport Way between Northeast 148th Avenue and Northeast 138th Avenue were closed, affecting traffic. Although the eastbound lanes were still available, drivers were advised to exercise caution because of the seriousness of the situation.
