Fentanyl, Meth, and Marijuana Seized in Cherokee County Drug Bust; Three Individuals Now in Custody

An arrest warrant was issued for a residence in the Lawrence region of Cherokee County on Friday, and three individuals were taken into custody on several narcotics trafficking offenses.

The residence was searched, and arrests were made as a result of the discovery of significant quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine, as well as marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

They were charged with trafficking fentanyl and methamphetamine, as well as possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Lillie Hardin, 70 years old, Joshua Steele, 37 years old, and Mathew Scott, 42, were all present.

Taking into custody on outstanding warrants for probation revocation and failing to appear on a prior charge of possession of a controlled substance, Scott was taken into custody, as stated by the sheriff’s office.

The three suspected individuals were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
