An altercation on Election Day in Fishhawk, Florida, led to the arrest of Stuart James McMillan, 71, after he was accused of attacking two women over political disagreements. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred near a local polling place at the intersection of Fishhawk Crossing Boulevard and Dorman Road.

that the conflict began midday Tuesday.
Deputies claim that an argument between McMillan and the two women about political candidates rapidly escalated. McMillan allegedly pulled one woman’s flag to the ground and then attacked her, grabbing her hair and throat. When the second woman intervened in an attempt to help, she too was allegedly grabbed by the throat by McMillan. McMillan was arrested and booked into Hillsborough County Jail.
