HAMMOND, Loui. DDN – The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) has arrested multiple suspects in connection with a drug distribution operation in Hammond and Tickfaw.
Drug Bust Details
Authorities began investigating the alleged operation earlier this month, focusing on locations at Whiskey Lane in Tickfaw and Mitchell Drive in Hammond. Search warrants were executed on Friday, March 14, leading to multiple arrests and the seizure of methamphetamine, Mojo, cocaine, firearms, and drug paraphernalia.

Suspects & Charges
- Alvin Cotton, 48 – Possession with intent to distribute marijuana, Mojo, meth, and heroin, plus firearm and paraphernalia possession.
- Kimberly Lizana, 50 – Possession of crack cocaine and paraphernalia.
- Hayes Cotton, 64 – Arrested on existing drug-related warrants.
- Doniel Gooden, 46 – Arrested on existing drug-related warrants.
- Rene Alvarado, 43 – Arrested on existing drug-related warrants.

Sheriff Gerald Sticker emphasized that law enforcement efforts are not confined by city limits, stating, “We will continue working with local, state, and federal agencies to investigate illegal activity wherever it occurs.”
The investigation remains ongoing, and officials expect additional arrests.
