Stuart, Florida, which came in second place last year, has now earned the top spot for 2024 on USA Today’s latest list of the ten best small coastal towns in the country. Stuart was nominated by a group of experts and chosen by readers. Key West also made the list and came in third place.

USA Today says that these coastal communities have a peaceful and charming atmosphere that is rare to find in more crowded places. You can have a great time looking at beautiful sights, visiting old places, eating tasty food, and finding lots of activities to do, whether you’re on the water or not.

Stuart, Florida Earns Top Spot

Stuart is a city in Martin County, Florida. It is situated on the Treasure Coast and is about 45 minutes north of West Palm Beach. The population of Stuart is approximately 17,425.

Stuart is a place with 21 miles of beaches. It is famous for being the “Sailfish Capital of the World.” Stuart also has many museums, such as the Road to Victory Military Museum and the Stuart Heritage Museum. Additionally, there are family-friendly attractions like the Sailfish Splash Water Park.
