VOLUSIA COUNTY, Flo. (DDN) – A 24-year-old man involved in a crash that resulted in the deaths of a TikTok influencer and two others has been sentenced to 202 days in jail after being found guilty of vehicular homicide.
Devin Perkins faced the possibility of a life sentence due to the December 2022 crash on State Road 44 in Volusia County.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that Perkins was behind the wheel of an Infiniti, with TikTok influencer Alexandra Dulin, also known as Ali Spice, as a passenger, along with two others.
Troopers report that Perkins was traveling at 100 mph when his vehicle struck a Toyota Tacoma that was driving in the wrong direction.
Dulin and the two other passengers lost their lives.
“They didn’t deserve to have their lives taken by anyone’s actions – including my own,” Perkins said Monday. “I’m sorry to the other victim as well, Mrs. Dylan. I’m grateful to the compassion the families have shown me and I hope that today brings closure for everyone involved.”
Perkins received a sentence of 364 days in jail, but since he has already served 162 days, he will only need to spend an additional 202 days incarcerated.
Perkins received a sentence of one year of community control, which will be followed by nine years of probation. His driver’s license will be suspended for the next 10 years.

Thomas Petry, the driver of the Tacoma, has pleaded no contest to several charges. These include reckless driving that resulted in serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of a crash that led to a death, vehicular homicide, and leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury.
He received a 37-year prison sentence.
