After being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery for allegedly using a hammer to strike her roommate, 35-year-old Kelsey Glover is currently being held at the Osceola County Jail. More information regarding the scene of the alleged crime, including the circumstances surrounding 14-year-old Giselle Glover’s death, was provided in new court files that were released following her arrest.
Although Kelsey Glover is not charged with her daughter’s death, the subject of the assault and battery case against her gave authorities more information after Giselle Glover was discovered unconscious in the bathtub at the site.
When she (Glover) grew angry, Kelsey’s roommate, the lady she allegedly threatened to kill with a hammer, informed police that she was trying to help with the [Glover’s] daughter. The roommate said under oath that Glover stopped providing Giselle Glover her insulin prescription, which made the teen sick. She reported feeling weak, vomiting, and not eating. Glover’s roommate informed him that the 14-year-old required medical care, but the mother declined to seek any kind of treatment. She added that Giselle Glover was struggling to keep the water flowing.

The roommate claimed that Glover had thrown her daughter in the bathtub, grabbed her by the hair, and held her head under the water at one point during their altercation. Glover pulled [the roommate] out of the bathroom in an attempt to stop her from saving Giselle’s life after she got out of the tub. Glover allegedly threatened her with a hammer after her roommate dialed 911. When the police got there, they saw multiple holes in the door that could have been caused by the hammer hitting it.
The hospital declared Giselle Glover dead. According to the document, authorities were expecting to add the charge of first-degree murder as they awaited the findings of her autopsy.
Kelsey Glover was ordered to be detained without bail after it was determined that she posed a danger of harm to the community.
