HUDSON, FL (DDN) – On Monday afternoon, a 21-year-old biker from Odessa was killed in a crash with a Subaru Outback on US-19.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports that the accident happened at the intersection of US-19 and Jessup Lane at approximately 2:46 PM.

A man from Spring Hill, who is 76 years old and driving a Subaru, was trying to perform a U-turn when he drove into the path of a motorcycle that was heading north.

The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision. The driver of the Subaru was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol is still looking into the accident.
