, the incident took place on May 4, when a masked man entered a second-floor apartment through the balcony and assaulted a healthcare worker while she slept.

The assailant remains at large and the police are confident that someone holds the key to unveil his identity. The suspect is described as a male with a slender build. FCPS encourages anyone, even those who previously hesitated or thought to currently hold back their information, to come forward. In a plea for community cooperation, “Regardless of how insignificant you think your information may be or whether you think we already are aware of it, we encourage you to contact us,” the spokesperson urged.

Initial reports indicated that the suspect is a Caucasian male, approximately 6 feet tall with a slender build. The circumstances of his relationship with the victim, if any, are not yet known. The calls came into the Fort Collins 911 around 3:45 am on the day in question, prompting an immediate police response to 1200 East Stuart Street.
