The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation after deputies were flagged down by a resident and made the discovery just after 6:40 a.m. near Eber Boulevard and Buddy Drive; the resident pointed out what seemed to be a body beside the road, which on closer inspection they found the victim had been brutally shot, she was pronounced dead at the scene. “The investigation is ongoing as agents continue conducting interviews and evaluating evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident,” the sheriff’s office conveyed in a statement reported by
