According to information posted on its social media accounts, the Fort Worth Fire Department has arrested a man suspected of carrying out a string of arson attacks on Fort Worth’s East side. After investigations into three fires that broke out in nearby apartment buildings between November 15 and 19, Adam Ewing, the suspect, was charged with three counts of felony arson.
Battalion 4 firemen arrived on the scene promptly and extinguished the fire. After performing extensive origin and cause studies, investigators from the Arson and Bomb Investigation Division concluded that the fires were purposefully started. They were able to quickly create and apprehend a suspect by surveying the area and gathering evidence. Ewing was arrested at a homeless camp along Eastchase Parkway, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department.
Ewing was interviewed after being taken into custody and subsequently checked into the Tarrant County Jail.
