AUGUSTA, Ga (DDN) – Richmond County dispatchers reported that there was a traffic jam on the eastbound I-20 on Friday evening due to a collision that involved several vehicles.

According to the dispatchers, the contact reported that there had been a four-vehicle accident between the exits of Walton Way and Washington Road.

Dispatchers said that the call came in at approximately 6:37 p.m.

According to the dispatchers, there were no reported injuries, however, emergency medical services were present at the location.

To avoid the traffic, some automobiles seemed to be driving in reverse up the on-ramp.
