Gaithersburg and Germantown Men Charged in Montgomery County Robbery Aided by Real-Time Surveillance

The incident occurred at the transit center at the 9600 block of Lost Knife Road, according to the Montgomery County Police Department. Officers were notified by a call that described the robbery and the attackers in progress, and they discovered the victim severely beaten. They took him to the hospital, where he was admitted with non-life-threatening injuries. The RTIC’s real-time data and video access gave officers the clarity they needed to identify the suspects.

Slater was seen on camera stomping on the victim who had already fallen, and footage analysis identified Lopez as delivering multiple blows and a kick to the victim’s head after his fall.
