Girl, 12, Seriously Injured in Crash at Rockton Bus Stop; Investigation Ongoing in Winnebago County.

DDN – According to the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department, a girl who was hit by a vehicle at a Rockton School District bus stop on Friday morning is still in critical condition.

The 12-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle in the 2700 block of Latham Road near Rockton around 7 a.m. on Friday, January 10.

She was brought to a local hospital before being moved to Madison, Wisconsin, for life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was not wounded and remained at the scene. The crash is still under investigation, and no charges have been filed.

No other information regarding what caused the crash was revealed.

Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department deputies are investigating.
