Following a road rage incident in Glendale that left three men seriously injured, Vahe Gyurjinyan, 18, has been charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. Around 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, the stabbings took place close to San Rafael Avenue and Dryden Street, according to ABC7.
Two days after the road rage confrontation, Gyurjinyan, a resident of Glendale, was arrested after a brawl broke out, according to the City of Glendale.
The homicide detectives in Glendale conducted thorough investigation, which led to the arrest and subsequent charging. According to ABC7, officers arrived on the scene and “determined that a fight had broken out between several men following a road rage incident.” Gyurjinyan is scheduled to return to court on December 16 after entering a not guilty plea at his arraignment. He is still being held on $2 million bail. Although there are still little information regarding the involvement and charges, a juvenile suspect has also been taken into custody in relation to the attack.
In addition, a second, unconnected stabbing happened in the same city just minutes after the road rage incident, adding to the violent night in Glendale. According to Hoodline, “The second incident unfolded mere minutes later, around 8:03 p.m., on Windsor Road.” This time, after the altercation, the suspect—who looked inebriated—was taken into custody by the police. Even though the victim in this case refused to be taken to the hospital, the subsequent incident raised concerns about public safety.
