Kendell Williams, 36, was found dead with a gunshot wound to his upper body on October 22, in the 800 block of Alamitos Avenue. Through diligent investigative work, authorities have apprehended 55-year-old Al Gene Fisher in connection with the murder, according to a press release by theLong Beach Police Department.

Responding officers and Long Beach Fire Department personnel attempted life-saving measures upon discovering Williams. However, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
