Starting this morning, local commuters will face a new hurdle as Sunset Road closes in both directions from east of Boulder Highway to Burns Road, according to

. This disruption is due to the installation of a storm drain to combat the area’s notorious flooding issues. The 90-day expected closure adds to the six median access interruptions along Boulder Highway, including at locales such as the USPS/Pep Boys, Henderson Plaza, and Summit on Boulder Apartments.
