Hesperia Police Seek Additional Victims of Alleged Concert Ticket Scammer Khristopher Dorn

A 51-year-old man named Khristopher Dorn, who said he worked as a promoter for well-known companies, is at the center of a grand theft investigation in Hesperia after several people were tricked into buying fake event tickets. Detectives are asking for more victims to come forward.

According to Ningle, Dorn allegedly tricked people into sending him money for suite tickets to a Luke Combs concert at SoFi Stadium on June 14th and 15th, 2024. He then kept the money, getting about $9,900, and leaving customers without tickets or refunds after the concerts. Dorn has a history of fraud and theft cases in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Georgia, among other states.

The investigation is being led by the Hesperia Police Department and Detective K. Campbell. The known victims have lost almost $10,000. Shannon D. Dicus, the Sheriff-Coroner for the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department, asked anyone with more information or who may have fallen for Dorn’s scams to contact the police.

The repeat scammer’s long list of crimes shows a pattern of constant wrongdoing. Detectives think that Dorn’s false promises have affected more people than they know, so they are casting a wider net to find more people who have been affected by his actions. If you have information about this case, you can call the Hesperia Police Department at (760) 947-1500 and reference Case No. 192404175.
