CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (DDN) – The Cambridge Police Department responded to a seven-car accident that occurred on John F. Kennedy St. outside of El Jefe’s. The incident happened on Wednesday, just before 9:30 p.m.
A Black Toyota, which eyewitnesses claimed was driving too fast down the street, twisted around and crashed with seven other automobiles. There was one car that was driving and six cars that were parked.
Peter Danilov, a Somerville resident who witnessed the accident, stated that the Toyota flipped over twice before landing on its wheels and plowing into the parked automobiles.
Danilov continued, “It actually flipped over onto its roof, skidded a little bit more, and then did another 180-degree turn, landing back on its wheels and coming to a stop there.”

According to the officers of the Cambridge Police Department who were there, there were no injuries. At approximately 10 p.m., the section of John F. Kennedy Street that runs from Mt. Auburn Street to Brattle Street was closed off. There were still several police and fire trucks present at the scene.
