DDN – East Hollywood was the location of a hit-and-run accident that resulted in a lady, age 22, suffering significant injuries. The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the assistance of the general public in identifying the driver who caused the accident.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision took place at approximately 3:41 a.m. on October 16 close to the intersection of Western Avenue and Clinton Street.

The victim seemed to have been attempting to flee from a man who was following her before to the hit-and-run incident which was captured on surveillance camera. A man and a woman are seen crossing the street together; however, it appears that the male walks away shortly before the victim is struck by a gray Chrysler sedan.

According to the police, the driver did not come to a stop and continued driving in the northern direction on Western Avenue. The woman was initially treated by paramedics at the spot, and then she was transported to a hospital.

The individual who looked to be following the victim reportedly fled without identifying himself as a potential witness, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. It is evident from the footage that he had stopped his vehicle there in the middle of Clinton Street before to the collision.
