I-95 South near Stirling Road and Sheridan Street will be closed tonight and tomorrow night from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the installation of a new overhead sign structure. Drivers are advised to plan an alternate route.
The roadwork is part of the larger nine-mile I-95 Express project aimed at improving commutes. The project will extend express lanes north to just before Broward Boulevard by converting the HOV lane and adding a new lane, creating two Express Lanes in each direction to help reduce travel time.
