, elaborated on the incidents involving Sneed. Police say he is responsible for attacks on Aug. 14 at 5454 West Gulf Bank Road and last Friday at 3434 West Little York Road. Women in both instances were assaulted in their homes, with Sneed gaining entry into one apartment before the victim returned and entering the other through an unlocked door. As the police continue to thoroughly assess evidence, they have indicated there is no connection between Sneed and a second suspect believed to be involved in additional assaults.
While one suspect is in custody, the search for a second suspect continues. This individual, described as a Black male in his 20s, is suspected of being linked to three other attacks. These incidents, documented to have occurred at apartments along West Gulf Bank Road, involved a man armed with a gun, sometimes wearing a ski mask, who forced his way into women’s homes, also reported by
