Houston Police Seek Public’s Help in Fatal Hit-and-Run Case on Bellaire Boulevard

Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run incident on Bellaire Boulevard in Houston that left one man dead on Thursday evening. The crash occurred around 7:25 p.m., and the search for the driver continues.

According to the

, the victim, a 34-year-old male pedestrian, was struck by a vehicle in the 10000 block of Bellaire Boulevard. He was either walking or attempting to cross the road when the vehicle hit him and fled the scene. His identity has not been released pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to Sergeant J. Richards of the HPD Vehicular Crimes Division, the unknown vehicle was traveling westbound when it hit the victim and drove off. Paramedics transported the man to a hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival due to his injuries.
