Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit is Coming to Detroit

Art lovers, and even some who aren’t, will blow your mind.

An incredible Van Gogh exhibit like you’ve never seen before is sweeping the country and will stop in Detroit.

It is entitled “Immersive Van Gogh Experience” and offers floor-to-ceiling installations and projections. Participants will find more than 500,000 cubic feet of monumental projections that animate Van Gogh’s art. According to the site for locations, you’ll “wander through fascinating, moving images that highlight brushstrokes, details, and colors – and really light up the spirit of genius.”

The description reads: “You will immerse yourself in Van Gogh’s works – from his sunny landscapes and night scenes to his portraits and still lifes. The installation includes the Mangeurs de pommes de terre (The Potato Eaters, 1885), the Nuit étoilée (Starry Night, 1889), Les Tournesols (Sunflowers, 1888) and La Chambre à coucher (The Bedroom, 1889) and much more. “

The experience of Italian installation artist Massimiliano Siccardi drew more than two million people in Paris and was featured on the hit Netflix show “Emily in Paris”.

The “Immersive Van Gogh Experience” is expected to arrive in Motor City soon! The event will take place from June 25th to August 15th at the TCF Center, the official Cobo Center. Tickets are now available here.
