Investigation Launched After Two People and a Dog Perish in Fiery Kitsap County Road Crash

An investigation is underway following a devastating single-car crash that claimed the lives of two people and a dog on a Kitsap County road this past weekend.

that deputies from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident which occurred around 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the 5000 block of Southeast Burley Olalla Road.

The tragic scene unfolded between Shady Glen and Fagerud roads where, upon arrival, law enforcement found the car engulfed in flames. The circumstances that preceded this crash are now being closely investigated, however, what is known is the vehicle came to rest against trees lining the road and rapidly became consumed by fire.

that the fatal collision is still under scrutiny by deputies to determine both the circumstances and the precise cause.

The identities of the victims had not been released at the time of the reports, as next-of-kin notifications are to thoroughly be carried out.
