Around 4:00 AM, police from the Dixon Police Department rushed to the 900 block of North Lincoln Street in Vacaville because someone had reported a robbery. There, they used surveillance video to see a suspect taking gun cases apart and putting them in a car.
The unnamed suspect’s car, which was caught on camera, helped police figure out what the criminal was trying to do. The make and model were sent to police stations in the area. It wasn’t long before alert Vacaville police officers saw the car and immediately launched a coordinated crackdown on the alleged burglar’s activities. With a search order, police found proof that the suspect was involved in other thefts in Dixon.
The Vacaville Police Department said in a press statement that the suspect, Isaiah Luna, 44, from Vacaville, is now being charged with burglary and having stolen property.
