Juvenile boy injured in dirt bike collision in the area of Fall River school

Police are looking into a collision that happened Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the Fall River Police Department is looking into a dirt bike accident that happened near Atlantis Charter School, 991 Jefferson Street, involving a young rider.

According to scanner transmissions, a boy was engaged in the call, which was received shortly before 3:45 p.m.

For medical care, the person has been taken to a nearby hospital.

Crime scene and accident reconstruction units are there and aggressively investigating the incident. To enable cops to operate safely and effectively, the public is advised to stay away from the area.
