Juvenile Motorcyclist Dies Following Rear-End Collision in Pahrump, Investigation Underway

A recent motorcycle collision in Pahrump has resulted in the death of a juvenile. The crash occurred around 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday last week at the intersection of Irene Street and Our Road. It involved a 2023 TaoTao off-road motorcycle and a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, as perFOX5 Vegas.

The juvenile was reportedly trying to turn left onto Our Road when the Chevrolet Suburban hit the motorcycle from behind, throwing the rider off. Authorities noted the motorcycle had no visible headlight or taillight at the time of the accident. The rider was taken to a local hospital but sadly died from the injuries on November 14. The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol’s Traffic Homicide Unit is continuing the investigation, according toNews3 LV.

The name of the victim has not been released due to the individual’s juvenile status. Initial reports suggest that visibility may have been a factor. The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Southern Command has indicated that they have investigated 66 fatal crashes leading up to 74 fatalities in 2024.
