Liberty Hall (Frankfort)
Senator John Brown erected Liberty Hall Mansion in 1796, and at least three ghosts are rumored to reside there. About 1817, Mrs. Margaret Varick, the lovely aunt of Mrs. Brown, passed away in an upstairs bedroom from a heart attack.
She was interred on the property, but when the graves were moved, she vanished; thereafter, she started to reappear as the Gray Lady, a benign ghost. A visiting Spanish opera singer is thought to be another ghost; she vanished while strolling from the grounds towards the river.
There were rumors that she had been abducted because she was never seen again. There are occasional sightings of a dark-haired female apparition sprinting through the gardens with her lips gaping open in a quiet scream.
Rohs Opera House (Cynthiana)
A performance of Down Argentine Way marked the 1941 opening of the present Rohs Opera House, which is pronounced ROSS. Adult tickets cost $.05 each. Originally constructed as Aeolian Hall, a live performance venue on the second floor, it dates back to 1871.
In the end, a silent movie projector was fitted to enable Cynthiana to watch “movies.” H. A. Rohs and his son Karle expanded the structure in 1941 to construct the “new” Rohs Opera House.
The actor Chris O’Donnel’s grandfather and great-grandfather are these persons. Currently, Rohs is renowned for being haunted and hosts live events and moves.

The Brown Hotel (Louisville)
The only floor of this hotel that is rumored to be haunted is the fifteenth, which is utilized for storage. According to witnesses, Mr. Brown may have once owned a suite on this floor.
The elevator frequently pauses there after being summoned by an invisible presence.
One guest staying on the 14th floor reported that they saw footprints in the plaster dust on the floor and that someone was moving items in the room above at night.

Rails Restaurant (La Grange)
Situated in a building that is almost 150 years old, the restaurant is the home of a spectral young girl. She is wearing a white dress with a hair bow, and she has been spotted in the back of the restaurant as well as the parking lot.
Some experts think she’s 8-year-old Jennie, who passed away in the 1800s from typhoid sickness. She laughs at herself, and witnesses have heard her do practical jokes like shifting objects.
