Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo Returns to Arlington with Fusion of Rodeo and Rock Music at AT&T Stadium

As Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo prepares for a second year, Arlington, Texas, is poised to once again serve as the focal point of a distinctive combination of music and sports. The unique event is returning to AT&T Stadium on May 16, 2025, after a triumphant launch that rocked the rodeo world. The three-day weekend will be packed with high-stakes Western sports, culminating in a live performance by the rock ‘n’ roll icon himself.

By extending the boundaries of conventional rodeo entertainment, award-winning singer Kid Rock, in collaboration with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR), seeks to consistently fuse rock and rodeo music in a way that captivates audiences. Kid Rock stated, “We combined rock and roll and rodeo last May to celebrate cowboys and America in a party no one will ever forget.” Now that year two has here, we have even more ambitious plans to keep introducing rodeo into the mainstream of entertainment. He told the City of Arlington that nothing is more amazing than rock ‘n’ roll and rodeo.

The attraction for Western sports enthusiasts is increased by the fact that the event precedes the 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast Championship, which begins the next day. The PBR’s CEO and Commissioner, Sean Gleason, emphasized the event’s revolutionary power from the previous year and hinted at potential improvements. “In 2024, the PBR alongside entertainment icon Kid Rock reimagined and changed rodeo forever,” remarked Gleason. According to the City of Arlington, “We are excited to welcome even more fans to AT&T Stadium in 2025 and are making some exciting tweaks to this transformative concept.”

The rodeo spectacular will have six teams, each led by a legendary rodeo coach, competing in a variety of disciplines like barrel racing and tie-down roping, all set against the upbeat backdrop of balladeer Kid Rock’s performance. The addition of the draft, which enables teams to choose one new member per discipline and allows five teams to keep one member from the 2024 tournament, is an intriguing component of the team selection process. Additionally, athletes that qualify through the World Champions Rodeo Alliance Major in May 2025 will make up the sixth team.
