LAFD Rapidly Extinguishes East Hollywood Bungalow Blaze, One Injured and Transported

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) responded quickly to a fire that started earlier today in a row of bungalows in East Hollywood. The incident, INC#0533, started at 1526 N Serrano Avenue at 09:06 AM, according to the LAFD ALERT. When firefighters arrived, they discovered flames coming from one unit. They immediately adopted an offensive strategy to put out the fire.

Despite the flames spreading quickly and eventually affecting three apartments, the LAFD was able to put out the fire in a short amount of time after it had expanded to a one-story row of bungalows. According to the LAFD’s “KNOCKDOWN” bulletin, which was made public on their official website, “34 firefighters extinguished the fire in 17 minutes.”

According to the LAFD update, the teams took a 46-year-old man in an unknown condition for medical attention while fighting the fire. Furthermore, it was verified that the impacted units’ primary and secondary searches were clear, meaning no additional victims were discovered at that time.
