Yesterday evening, Lancaster County residents watched the heartbreaking scene of a mobile home on fire. According to Local21News, the incident happened close to Cocalico Creek Mobile Home Park, in the 900 block of Rettew Mill Road. No injuries have been reported, and the Lincoln Fire Department was identified as the first responder to this emergency.
According to aWGALreport, firemen were able to contain the fire, which destroyed what had once been a house, in roughly half an hour. Images from the aftermath, which showed the skeletal remnants of the mobile home, showed the extreme amount of the damage.
As the fire engulfed one side of the mobile home, 22 emergency personnel, under the direction of the Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company, arrived on the site to battle the fire. LancasterOnline described this information in depth and mentioned the local fire police’s efforts to control traffic.
Emergency responders on the scene reported that at around 8:20 p.m., dispatchers declared a working fire.
