The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred on November 11 in the Mission area, following a shooting incident near Orion Avenue and Rayen Street, according to a recent

Upon their arrival at the scene, LAPD officers discovered an adult male in his 30s at an encampment located on an embankment of the 405-freeway, the man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and despite being rapidly transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics and receiving emergency medical care, he was unfortunately pronounced dead. The identity of the victim has yet to be released to the public as authorities are working to positively identify him and notify his next of kin.

As of now, no suspects have been arrested, and the LAPD’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are handling the ongoing investigation, seeking information that can lead to a better understanding of the crime. They are calling on the community for help with any details related to the case.
