Large fire burns through multiple homes on Detroit’s east side; no reported injuries

(CBS DETROIT)Following a fire that destroyed several residences on Detroit’s east side on Friday morning, the Detroit Fire Department is conducting an investigation.

According to fire department officials, no injuries have been reported.

At least three homes near East Davison Street and Luce Avenue were on fire, and two of them were seriously damaged.

The incident was responded to by an ambulance and at least six fire vehicles.

The cause is being investigated by the Detroit Fire Department.
