Las Vegas Community Outraged After Eight Newborn Puppies Rescued From Dumpster Suspect in Custody

After being discovered inside a trash bag, eight two-week-old puppies were saved from a dumpster in Las Vegas. According to FOX5 Vegas, a good samaritan heard their calls and came to their aid just in time. The community is outraged about the puppies’ rescue, and they are currently recuperating at The Animal Foundation shelter.

Rescuers discovered the puppies in terrible shape, enclosed in a sack with an unidentified cleaning solution, along with their mother and two other canines, according to KTNV.

“These are tiny, vulnerable puppies who barely have their eyes open, and someone chose to throw them away like trash,” the Animal Foundation told FOX5 Vegas. The remaining seven puppies face a precarious future because of their age and vulnerability to disease, while one puppy was tragically put down owing to internal bleeding.

The individual who left the puppies behind is currently being held by the police. The shelter expressed gratitude to Animal Protective Services and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for their prompt assistance and response.

The shelter is thinking of placing the puppies in foster homes while they heal in order to give them a caring environment in which to develop. Helping the puppies recover and get ready for a better life is one of the shelter’s objectives.
