We used Saturday Night Science to find out which cities in Virginia have the highest levels of alcohol consumption.
Is it a problem to be known as the city with the highest rate of alcohol consumption in your state?
Here’s something interesting about Virginia: It ranks low in terms of how much alcohol is consumed per person. On average, each resident drinks 20 beers per year.
The divorce rate is also very low. Perhaps that is because Virginia is a popular destination for couples in love.
Well done, Virginia. Especially when you think about the fact that the second most intoxicated place in the country is located right next door
However, even though many people choose not to drink alcohol, the cities listed below consume enough to compensate for it.
How do you determine the amount of alcohol consumed at a location? You can determine the popularity of drinking by looking at the number of places where alcohol is sold and how frequently people discuss drinking.
In addition, we thought it would be a good idea to include a stereotype. Research has shown that if one or both partners in a marriage have alcoholism, the chances of divorce are three times higher.
After studying cities in Virginia with a significant population, we have compiled a list of the Drunkest Cities in the state.
