(CBS DETROIT)One Lions fan, who had a back-and-forth with Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, understands all too well that the Detroit Lions’ exciting victory over the Green Bay Packers last Thursday was intense before it even began.
The encounter between Fahad Yousif and LaFleur has been witnessed by people all throughout the nation.
As a season ticket holder, Yousif has several benefits, such as the opportunity to hold the American flag during the playing of the national anthem prior to the game. He claims that the inclusion of a nationally televised argument with LaFleur surprised him.
“Every player was right there while we were just strolling down. ‘You’re done,’ we were yelling at them. You are doomed. We’re sweeping you guys; we’re winning two. “He lost it after you slashed his throat,” Yousif remarked. “Players are suddenly passing by and other things after he simply ran at me. LaFleur said he was taken aback as well.

Yousif claims that everything happened quickly. Although he acknowledges that he had a role, he claims that his excitement overcame him.
“When it was going down, I wasn’t sure what to think. Nothing like this has ever been seen or experienced by me before. He remarked, “I didn’t think a coach would do that.” However, it’s not all his fault. I went too far. I became enmeshed in the competition, the supporters, and the passion of the moment. I veered a little too far.
Yousiff had to watch the Lions triumph from home after being told to leave. He claims it’s nothing personal now that he has calmed down and that he might even be amenable to speaking with LaFleur again in the future.
“It’s ‘Go Lions,’ of course, but it also feels like something is happening on the field. These are the two teams that are competing. We’re all fine off the field. I don’t despise the man. Even though I despise the Packers, I would love to speak with him if he wants to off the field. “I didn’t intend for any of this to blow up this big,” Yousif stated.
