Despite being surrounded by police, Berg admitted to possessing fentanyl in his car and on his person during the interaction with the authorities. Authorities found a trove of drugs and paraphernalia during a follow-up search: “43 grams of fentanyl (including packaging), equating to 21,885 lethal doses, 1.65 grams of methamphetamine (including packaging), 12 small clear plastic baggies and a case of razors, two functional digital scales, $185 in cash, consisting of $20, $10, and $5 denominations,” according to the statement.
