An unidentified suspect entered the tavern at approximately 10:21 p.m. and made a violent demand for money. As soon as the robber fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money in hand, the Scott County 911 Dispatch Center was notified of the event.
Two staff members were present throughout the eerie incident but were unharmed, according to a statement from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office. “This type of crime is unsettling for our entire community, and our team is committed to thoroughly investigating and bringing those responsible to justice,” said Sheriff Luke Hennen, expressing his concern. Authorities are asking any witnesses or people with information to come forward as the event is still being investigated.
