Love letter allegedly written by Staten Island NYPD officer to boy read in court; alleged grooming tactics detailed

New York’s Staten Island. Detectives claim they discovered a love letter to a 15-year-old in Texas while examining the house of a former NYPD Youth Coordination officer who was accused in 2023 of having sex with youths on Staten Island.

The suspect, Christopher Terranova, 34, of Eltingville, is currently a defendant in the case and is on trial in federal court in Brooklyn on accusations of coercing and enticing a minor and sexually exploiting a child.
