DDN – A Mega Millions player from Michigan won $1 million.
The Michigan Lottery has reported that a ticket purchased at the Shell gas station at 37820 Green Street, near Main Street, in New Baltimore matched the five white balls in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing, winning $1 million.
The winning numbers are 20, 24, 33, 39, and 48.
“A Michigan Lottery player is starting the new year off with a big boost to their bank account after winning $1 million in last night’s Mega Millions drawing!” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli in a news release. “Congratulations to the winner.”
To claim their prize, the winner should contact the Lottery’s Player Relations section at 844-917-6325. Mega Millions winners must claim their rewards within one year of the drawing.
Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday evening. Each Mega Millions play costs only $2. For an extra $1 per play, players can add a “Megaplier” that multiplies non-jackpot wins up to five times.
Mega Millions tickets are available in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the United States Virgin Islands.
