PORTER, Maine – Maine State Police are actively searching for a 41-year-old man, Dusty O’Brien, who is wanted for multiple charges related to a domestic violence incident. Authorities say O’Brien strangled his pregnant partner on Tuesday and fled the scene before officers could arrive.
O’Brien is facing serious charges, including domestic violence aggravated assault, domestic violence reckless conduct, and violating conditions of release. He is also on bail for a separate domestic violence arrest. Police warn that O’Brien should be considered dangerous, and they are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
According to officials, the incident occurred at O’Brien’s residence, where he allegedly strangled his pregnant partner. The woman was able to get away, and police were contacted, but O’Brien had already fled the area by the time officers arrived.
