Major Drug and Weapons Trafficking Bust in Stockton 141 Firearms Seized 2 Suspects Detained

A major crackdown on drug and weapon trafficking has been established in Stockton and the surrounding areas following months of surveillance and cooperation between local and federal law enforcement authorities. The San Joaquin County METRO Narcotics Task Force has been keeping a close check on illicit operations since April 2023, and the results of 19 search warrants that were served this month are revealed in a Facebook post by the Stockton Police Department.

110 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 120,000 fentanyl pills, 2 kilograms of cocaine, a quarter pound of heroin, approximately $4 million in concentrated THC products, and nearly $450,000 in cash were seized as a result of the operation. Two individuals were arrested after 50 pounds of methamphetamine, two weapons, and 19 machinegun conversions were seized in the City of Stockton, which was brought to light by enforcement activity. In an effort to stop the flow of illicit weapons, 141 firearms, including ARs and.50 caliber rifles, as well as high-capacity magazines and a suppressor, were seized as the warrants were being served.

A large-scale drug and firearm trafficking organization was successfully disrupted by the combined investigation, which included the Stockton High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) team, DEA, HSI, and ATF. Local SWAT squads assisted with the execution of warrants and the safe capture of those engaged in these unlawful acts.
